Pencil sketching on paper.  19cm x 26.5cm.  September 10, 2017. As a birthday present, I decided to do a few self portraits. I had been very controlled not to indulge in self portraits as I knew, once I started, I would not willing to stop. Yes yes I was too fond of myself.

Pencil sketching on paper. 19cm x 26.5cm.  Aug 9, 2017. This kind of drawing tequired a lot of patience.  I took almost 8 hours to do that. But it was a warm up exercise for a later realism painting of outdoor grass land and garden.

Pencil sketching on paper.  19cm x 26.5cm.  Aug 5, 2017. Drawing was sometimes more difficult than painting. When color value was very close and the structure of the landscape was not prominent, it was really patience which could me to complete a drawing. Line drawing was even more difficult.
