I was slightly disappointed that the art tour turned out to be another shopping tour for art books. 

I had strong desire to do more practise once I could. And I expected that I could indulge into painting during this trip.

In view of the lack of interest of the group to do plein air painting, I needed to get up 3 hours earlier to do paintings in the early morning before the group set off.

The convenient way was to paint from my hotel room. I was lucky. The view was good. Nice European gray colour tone. Interesting shapes. 

I loved this piece! I was so glad I determined to do it!
