The training was to distinguish similar colour and generalise them into few colour palettes. 

In the reality, colour is very complicated. One essential skill of painting is to simplify. This is no easy stuff for all people. In this painting I tried to simplify the trees of different distance to me according to their different colour tendency.

I needed to work very hard to consolidate this skill.
